This character was inspired by kkul-tteok, a traditional Korean honey filled rice cake.
The image of the honey sealed inside the rice cake reminded me of tightly closed lips.
That expression, in turn, evoked the calm and meditative image of a monk in silent contemplation.
Drawing from this inspiration, I reflected the concept in both the personality and visual design of the character, creating a calm and composed figure who keeps its lips gently closed and speaks very little.
